16 juli need your opinion
不过,虽然这个话题还是严肃了一点,我还是想在这里问问你们,are you for or against the death penalty? Say something about it ok? 06 juli Sometimes we need to look back...Brokeback Mountain Reluctantly at first, Ennis got involved in a “twisted” love; contradictorily, he is also, the beholder of this true emotion, as well as solid tradition. By betraying himself, he withdrew from what was considered to be a fact, and a sensible feeling on Jack's part. The obvious inner conflict deeply disturbed Ennis from the very beginning. He got married as if he accepted a job offer to support life, but the distinct unbalance between material and spiritual satisfaction sank far below the surface of realization, Thus he suffered. Sex with his legal lover barely involved any passion, as if a due course. Although he still refused to open full arms to Jack’s love, he was intrigued profoundly in the retrospection of Brokeback where existed an attractive soul warmed his coldening heart. The sparks of true love once had lightened quietly the deep blue heavens. Irresistible as emotion was, Ennis met Jack once a year, which provided him renewed experience of Brokeback, the place they used to crouch together in the tent for the first time, feeling the heat of each other in cold winter. However, two daughters gave Ennis more of a father’s responsibility and required his attention. It’s a bondage tightly wrapped him up---the straight life and family. Finally, one day, he rejected Jack, in departure, the will of moving together and settling in a place where their romance could last safely and flourish. That’s what, to Ennis, a lifelong regrettable moment he should taste the bitterness time and time again. He never saw Jack again. The smiling shining face faded yet was stamped in his heart. Having heard about what happened from Jack’s wife, he had his own version of this “terrible accident”, the one he had witnessed in childhood. The agony tortured his lonely soul. Buried in solitude, without Jack, Ennis retreated to a remote spot with a mailbox numbered 17, counting “Brokeback Mountain”. It was then when Ennis went to Jack’s parents’ he found two faded shirts between the wardrobe and the wall in Jack’s room. His memory flowed again, back to the Eden, back to the day when played and teased each other. Jack's blue shirt embraced Ennis’. Both of them were still carrying the fragrance of that dreaming-like resort. The smell of soil, flowers, grass, sheep dung and half-melted snow, all mingled in the hold of this legacy. Tears became uncontrollable. It’s funny sometimes to see a guy crying like a baby. Wrinkles crept on his weary face; traces of time caught him in the bright daylight. “Jack, come back.” He knew well that Jack forever lay down under the grassed land. It’s no longer a mere regret Ennis felt. Immense dreams embodied prevailing sorrow and flashbacks of joy, and real moisture of eyes during the empty night, was all he had now… |
